IUSCI (Ionian University Student Conference in Informatics) is the first Scientific Conference in Informatics organized by students, for students, under the auspices of the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University. The aim of the conference is to enhance scientific and research activity in Informatics and to develop academic dialogue among young researchers in the field.

The Conference will take place in Corfu, within the facilities of the Ionian University, on 6-7 May 2025, and is expected to be a meeting point for leading scientific personalities and students from all over Greece.

Participation in the Conference is open to undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students from all Departments of Higher Education in Greece involved in the field of Computer Science and Informatics, if they meet the requirements for submitting a paper or simply wish to attend the presentations.

The submission process takes place through the online platform TBA. You can find information on how to submit under the Call For Papers tab or at: https://iusci.di.ionio.gr/, where interested parties can submit their work according to the instructions provided.

The deadline for submission of work is 26 March 2025, with desicions to be announced on 16 April 2025. The papers will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, which will consider their scientific integrity, innovation and contribution to the advancement of new knowledge in the field of Informatics.

Papers can be submitted in either Greek or English, provided that they meet the technical and formal criteria set by the Conference.

Participation in the Conference is completely free of charge, offering equal opportunities to all participants, regardless of academic level or financial means.

Yes, a certificate of participation will be delivered to all participants, both speakers and audience members, certifying their participation in the scientific activities of the conference.

Sure. The Conference is also open to students who are interested in attending the talks and participating in the scientific discussion without presenting a paper.

The work must meet strict scientific research standards and be submitted in time for evaluation.
