Emmanuel Magos

Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and Lifelong Learning of the Ionian University
Mr. Emmanuel Magkos is Vice Rector of the Ionian University and a graduate of the Department of Computer Science of the University of Piraeus, where he received his PhD in the same scientific field. His academic and research career focuses on critical issues related to the security of information systems and networks.

His research interests include cryptographic techniques for enhancing security in computing and network environments, as well as privacy protection on the Internet. He also works on security and privacy issues in distributed applications, actively contributing to understanding and addressing contemporary cybersecurity challenges.
