Transportation

Corfu International Airport "Ioannis Kapodistrias" is connected to the city center (San Rocco Square) via Line 15 of the Corfu City Bus. The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

There is a regular ferry connection to the port of Igoumenitsa, with departures approximately every 1-2 hours throughout the day. From the New Port, Line 2B serves transportation to the city. The walking distance to the University buildings is about 15 minutes.

The central station is located on Eptanisou Street. It connects Corfu with Athens, Thessaloniki, and other cities. Connection to the city center is available via Lines 05, 06, 10, 15.

The central starting point for all lines is San Rocco Square. Use Line 2A (Kanoni) or Line 7 (Dassia) for transportation within the city.

Taxis are available throughout the city and at the airport. You can call a radio taxi at 26610 33811 or use the Uber app.

Corfu is ideal for walking. Most departments of the Ionian University are less than 15 minutes apart from each other on foot.
